Ladin Lounge - VIP Hospitality

Welcome and love for the local area in the Ladin Lounge, the VIP hospitality area of the FIS World Cup Val di Fassa

A true sense of welcome and deep love for the local area: these are the values embodied by the Ladin Lounge, the VIP hospitality area of the FIS World Cup Val di Fassa, coordinated by the Strada dei Formaggi delle Dolomiti (Dolomites Cheese Route). The Ladin Lounge is a showcase of the finest food and wine from Val di Fassa and Trentino. Guests are welcomed into a warm, wood-scented setting furnished by LadinArredi in authentic Dolomite style, enhanced by elegant green touches curated by Laboratorio Floreale Alessandra Ti in Moena. Here, journalists and VIP guests enjoy a culinary experience rooted in sustainability: local products, porcelain tableware and entirely plastic-free beverages, thanks in part to the partnership with Acqua Dolomia.

A Team Effort
The kitchen and dining service are the result of true teamwork. Chef Stefano Ghetta, from Val di Fassa, leads the kitchen alongside chefs Stefano Goller, Luigi Caputo and Corrado Collini, supported by a dozen volunteer students and former students from the ENAIP Institute in Tesero. Front-of-house service is overseen by Italy's Best Sommelier, Roberto Anesi, together with staff provided by the Moena Hoteliers' Association. The present and future of local tourism come together here, supported by local producers and with the valuable collaboration of Fassa Coop for raw materials and logistics.

Before the Races
Before the competitions, the Lounge transforms into a refined coffee break: cappuccinos, hot chocolate and herbal teas from Fiores farm in Vigo, alongside refreshing La Trentina apple juice. Guests can indulge in homemade cakes, doughnuts and freshly baked brioches, crisp La Trentina apples, and yoghurt from Mèlga de Fascia, paired with Slow Food Presidium mountain honey from Ciasa do Parè farm in Soraga - produced in the very meadows surrounding the La VolatA slope.

Savoury Specialties
For lovers of savoury flavours, there is the opportunity to meet local producers face to face: speck freshly sliced by Salumificio Felicetti sausage factory in Moena, as well as outstanding cheeses such as Cher de Fascia from Mèlga de Fascia and Puzzone di Moena DOP from Carpano dairy. A rich selection of finger food ranges from suckling pig glazed with Swiss stone pine honey, cabbage, cumin and sweet mustard to crispy Puzzone di Moena DOP with endive, walnuts, radicchio and pear chutney. These flavours are enhanced by pairings with Trentodoc mountain sparkling wines, available in various styles and labels thanks to the partnership with the Trento D.O.C. Institute.

During the Competitions
During the races, guests can enjoy first and second courses, with Pasta Felicetti taking centre stage, alongside reinterpreted traditional Ladin recipes, steaming soups and premium cuts of fresh meat from Salumificio Felicetti. To conclude, a selection of mignon pastries from L Malghèr in Pozza, including timeless classics such as strudel and Linzer cake, paired with grappas from La Cianeva dala Sgnapa in Vigo.
A space of excellence for a special occasion, where guests over the three days of competition can enjoy the Downhill and Super-G races, cheer on the athletes and - we hope - raise a glass to the success of the Italian team.
