On Friday, 6 March, Saturday, 7 March and Sunday, 8 March, Val di Fassa returns to the World Cup spotlight, hosting two downhill races and a super-G on the La VolatA course at Passo San Pellegrino. The world’s best speed specialists will compete on icy walls, thrilling turns and photo-finish battles, where everything is decided in a single run.
All around them, the cheers, the buzz, the celebration: at the Ski Village, dance to the DJ’s beats, raise a glass with friends and enjoy a sizzling sausage sandwich - because the World Cup spirit lives on, even off the slopes.
Behind the scenes, a well-oiled organisational team - Val di Fassa Grandi Eventi, ski schools, ski clubs, volunteers and local authorities - will work together to offer athletes and spectators an unforgettable show at the foot of Col Margherita, in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
