Contemporary design, intuitive interactivity and excellent usability. These are the main features of the new digital InfoTotems, installed and activated in the days leading up to Christmas in Canazei and Pozza. This is a project by ApT Val di Fassa that renews and enhances the tourist information system in the area. Starting in January, the new devices will also be placed next to the tourist offices in the towns of Moena, Soraga, Vigo, Mazzin and Campitello. In addition to replacing the information boards, the InfoTotems offer guests an even more accessible and efficient consultation experience.

The new InfoTotems consist of two distinct but complementary elements. The first is a monitor, which broadcasts a loop of constantly updated content throughout the day (it is active from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.), including events, experiences and images of the area captured by various webcams. The second is an interactive touchscreen monitor, which allows guests to navigate easily and immediately through the information available on the www.fassa.com portal, choosing independently what they want to consult from: accommodation search, shopping and useful services, where to eat, mountain huts and alpine dairies, transport, images from webcams in the area, experiences, what to do today, activities, sports, slopes and lifts, walks, wellness, spas and swimming pools, museums and exhibitions, Val di Fassa guest card and much more. This technological solution, which involved a significant investment by ApT, is particularly useful not only as a support to the daily activities of tourist offices, but also during periods of closure or at times of peak visitor numbers, ensuring a continuous and easily accessible information service.

Following its launch in Canazei and Pozza, where the service is proving highly successful, the project will continue according to a differentiated schedule. In municipalities where accommodation facilities are already in place - Alba, Campitello, Vigo and Soraga - installation will be rapid, while in Moena and Mazzin, the preparation of spaces will be awaited, in collaboration with the respective municipal administrations.
